For years, the UCC South Psychology Department has hosted this annual conference to uncover the diverse realities of the Filipino lived experience. We believe that psychology should go beyond the walls of the university. This platform empowers our students to engage with underrepresented communities, laying a strong foundation for psychological discourse that truly matters to our society.

At the heart of the 2026 conference is a fundamental truth of psychology: to truly understand society, we must listen to its most overlooked voices. Our grassroots fieldwork took us far beyond the university to document these diverse realities. While the individual paths we encountered are profoundly unique, they validate that the drive to find meaning and connection is universal. It is through navigating this diversity that we discover our shared identity.
